Brief Description
The Government of Indonesia recognizes the heightened vulnerability of female migrant workers to violence and has introduced measures to strengthen their protection. A key initiative is the National Action Plan for the Prevention and Handling of Trafficking in Persons (RAN PTPPO) for 2020–2024, issued through Presidential Regulation No. 19/2023. This plan outlines coordinated and systematic actions by ministries and institutions to prevent and address the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO).
